Sandqvist started with the idea that you didn’t need a hi-tech bag full of gadgets to get outside. Just something to hold your essentials while you spent a night under the stars. Yes, we’re city dwellers by day, but there’s always been that itch to escape, to breathe in fresh air, take in the stunning sceneries, and enjoy a few beers out in the open with friends.
Back in 2004, it was hard to imagine where we would be today. When Anton, one of our founders, put pen to paper on what would become our first work bag, he pulled together leftover tarpaulin, awning fabric and car seatbelts. Today, 20 years have flown by and here we are, still crafting long-lasting bags for a new generation. Who says a good thing doesn’t last?
Although we’re not digging through scraps anymore, the idea of reusing what we can still holds strong in everything we produce. Our love for the outdoors is not only our source of inspiration, but it also pushes us to do our best when it comes to sustainable design and materials. So, as we celebrate what we’ve achieved so far and look forward to what the future will bring, we hope we can inspire you to get outside. Because the more we connect with nature, the more committed we become to protecting it.
