Photography: Henrik Lindholm, Sandqvist Sustainability manager
Sarek is a 1970km² national park located in Lappland, a province in northern Sweden. Some call it Europe´s last true wilderness area, as it has no overnight cabins or marked trails.
Henrik, Sandqvist’s very own Sustainability Manager, visited Sarek National Park last summer together with his girlfriend Eva. With a tent, portable stove, map and compass, they hiked through deep valleys, delta land, forests and mountains, crossed ice cold streams and admired some of the most dramatic scenery Sweden has to offer. They also took some photos that Henrik brought back with him. Hope you’ll enjoy them, we certainly have.
